| California State University, Northridge is located in the heart of the San Fernando Valley, within the Greater Los Angeles area. CSUN's Vocal Arts department has a history of excellence training singers for careers in opera, concert singing, as music educators, and in sacred music. The Vocal Arts faculty include internationally recognized profesionals in the areas of opera, voice and choral music. Our students have enjoyed tremendous succcess professionally, performing at the world's most celebrated musical institutions, including The Metropolitan Opera, and have garnered numerous awards, and won prestigious competitions. The faculty is student-centered, and have created a supportive and nurturing environment for their students, and truly care for and mentor their students. |
