About Us
| The Voice Department is dedicated to instilling an attitude of respect and professionalsim toward the art of singing, helping all students develop their own efficient and healthy voice technique, and reinforcing basic musical and professional skills that will prepare them for the next step in their musical careers. Baldwin-Wallace is home to the first collegiate Bach Festival, the Cleveland Art Song Festival, and the Focus Festival of Contemporary Music. The undergraduate Conservatory environment ensures many performance opportunities in addition to voice lessons. Ensembles include the Motet Choir, College Choir, B-W Singers, Women's Choir, and Collegium Musicum in addition to the opera, musical, master classes, and opera and music theatre workshops. Rent and LaBoheme will be performed in repertory in February 2011. Visit www.bw.edu/academics/conservatory/people to learn more. |
